The original summer blockbuster, Jaws is a pathbreaking and trendsetting film which caused a massive paradigm shift in cinema, and also announced Steven Spielberg  to the world.

Jaws follows a police chief, a professional shark hunter and a marine biologist who head out to open sea to kill a great white shark that has been terrorising the waters of the local tourist town. The film is exemplary of Steven Spielberg’s masterful storytelling. The story moves a tantalising and thrilling pace, and will definitely keep you hooked. The shark is unseen for most of the film, making a physical appearance only at the end, with Spielberg relying on camera effects and an Academy  Award-winning background score to create the shark’s presence.

Jaws is fantastic , visually stunning, and would convince you to never venture out into the sea again. It was the highest-grossing film of all time until Star Wars, and is one of the most culturally significant films of all time.
