pulp fiction

Pulp Fiction is a crime film presented in a stylized manner typical of cult hero Quentin Tarantino. The film is darkly comic, violent, and most important of all-mind-blowingly entertaining.

The screenplay, which progresses in a non-linear format, introduces us to a host of quirky, memorable characters: two small-time criminals “Pumpkin” and “Honey-Bunny” having breakfast at a diner and planning to rob the restaurant; two mob hitmen Jules and Vincent on their way to a violent showdown; Mia ,the drug-addict wife of mob boss Marsellus Wallace who goes out with Jules to a 1950s themed restaurant; boxer Butch Coolidge who double crosses Marsellus after being paid to throw a fight; and “cleaner” Winston Wolfe, who is called by Jules and Vincent to “clean-up” after an accidental murder.

Regarded as one of the greatest films of all time,Pulp Fiction was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture,Best Director, Best Actor for Travolta,Best Supporting Actor for Jackson,Best Supporting Actress for Uma Thurman,Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay ,which it won.
